Belgian-Dutch Summer School on Nuclear Energy
From 25–29 August 2026, the Belgian research center SCK CEN (Mol, Belgium) will host the international Belgian-Dutch Summer School on Nuclear Energy — an intensive five-day program for students and young professionals in technical and natural science fields.
The summer school is primarily aimed at undergraduate and master's students in engineering, physics, mathematics, chemistry, and related disciplines, as well as early-career researchers and specialists.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- learn about key areas of modern nuclear science and technology;
- visit leading nuclear research centers and facilities in Belgium and the Netherlands;
- engage with leading experts, researchers, and industry representatives;
- explore opportunities for master's and doctoral studies, as well as career paths in the nuclear sector;
- expand their international professional network.
The program combines lectures, technical visits, hands-on exposure to nuclear infrastructure, and informal networking with young professionals in the field.
Participation is free of charge — the organizers cover accommodation, meals, and logistics during the summer school.
