A year since russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine
Today is exactly one year since our life was divided into before and after. The 366th day of endless February, pain, sadness, longing, destruction, losses.
However, this is the year of our indomitability, the year of struggle. It gave us hope, showed us the value of the moment of life here and now, united us, showed that Victory will be with us and it is inevitable.
Karazin University, as a symbol of Kharkiv, survived despite all the trials, attacks on the city, destruction. It will always be like that.
Due to the war, the university faced new challenges, however, we respond to them with dignity, hold our ground and, together with Ukraine, pave the way to Victory.
Today, looking back, we remember how confused we were at first. However, later on we got together and started discussing the next plan of action. Thus, a humanitarian headquarters was created to quickly help each other, urgently solve the issue of evacuation and ensure the ability to continue the educational process in safe conditions.
Partners from all over the world expressed their support from the first days. We received dozens of letters every day condemning the invasion and wanting to do everything we could to help.
Together with foreign institutions of higher education, we managed to organize a number of cooperation programs, thanks to which students can continue their studies in the conditions of war.
We are grateful to everyone who supports us. Thanks to you, we know we have a future. We will rebuild everything!
Together with all Ukrainians, the students of Karazin University stood up to defend their land, they defend Ukraine every day. The university community appreciates their courage, bravery and dedication. They are already part of an unforgettable story. We also honor and forever remember those who died in the fight for our freedom and independence.
Glory to all soldiers who protect our lands! Bright memory of those who gave their lives for free Ukraine!
With faith in our Victory!
