On November 21, 2023, a presentation of the book "Marin Drinov: Letters, Telegrams, Detailed Notes. 1859–1905" took place at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia.
The presentation was attended by the leaders of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, including Academician Vasil Nikolov and other Bulgarian scientists, representatives of Karazin University, Mikhaylo Stanchev, and Sergiy Strashnyuk, as well as honorary doctors of Karazin University, Ivan Yukhnovsky, and Volodymyr Salenkov.
This publication for the first time gathers the epistolary legacy of the prominent Bulgarian historian and public figure, University Professor Marin Drinov (1838–1906).
This edition is the result of many years of collaborative work by Bulgarian and Ukrainian researchers in identifying, commenting on, and preparing for publication letters, telegrams, and lecture notes that illuminate the scientific, educational, public activities, and private life of the distinguished historian.
The compilers from the Ukrainian side were representatives of the School of History: Professor Sergiy Posokhov and Associate Professor Victoria Ivashchenko, with Professor Mykhailo Stanchev serving as the project coordinator.
