Today, the Karazin community laid flowers at the memorial in memory of Karazin students who died during the war since February 24, 2022.

The administration, representatives of schools and research institutes, as well as various university units, joined the event.

"It is very difficult to imagine that the third year has already begun since we have been living in this war. We want all this to end, and our Victory has come. But over this time, we have all grown up, and more than ever we understand that having such a neighbor nearby, we cannot relax for a minute and must be ready to resist our enemy. We will always remember this day and thank our defenders who gave their lives for the right to live on our native land, raise children, and even think and dream about the future. Great respect to them," said the Rector of the University, Professor Tetyana Kaganovska, addressing those present.

The Karazinites also honored the fallen with a minute of silence.

Eternal glory to all those who died at the hands of the Russians, who sacrificed the most precious — their lives! Thanks to you, Ukraine has withstood and continues to fight for its future.
