The educators of Severodonetsk completed advanced training at the Karazin University

From June to the beginning of July 2022, meaningful and systematic work on improving the qualifications of teaching staff and heads of educational institutions in the city of Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, was carried out at the Karazin University.

For the first time in the practice of postgraduate education of Karazin University, only online classes were held for students of one territorial community of Ukraine, who, as a result of hostilities, are in different regions of Ukraine and outside its borders.

The educational process for teaching staff and heads of educational institutions was carried out by the Center for Postgraduate Education of Karazin University with the active partnership support of scientific and pedagogical staff of the relevant departments of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Faculty of Computer Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Physical, philological, chemical, law faculties, educational and scientific institute "Karazin Banking Institute", e-learning center. The municipal institution "Kharkiv City Resource Inclusive Center", basic educational institutions — Kharkiv Secondary School of I-III degrees No. 28 and communal institution "Preschool Educational Institution No. 427" of the Kharkiv City Council also joined the educational process.

The specificity of advanced training for course participants was familiarization with modern scientific achievements and the development of innovative methods of their implementation in the educational process with education seekers. An important role in the work with teaching staff and management personnel was the modernization of their professional and subject competences in the field of digital technologies, the use of various information platforms for high-quality and safe educational and educational processes with students and children in the conditions of hostilities, overcoming their "war syndrome ".

During training, course participants performed a variety of practical, laboratory and independent works of applied direction to consolidate the acquired new theoretical knowledge on a scientific basis, mastered modern scientific and methodological principles for working with children with special educational needs in the online format.

Teachers were provided with various didactic developments for work according to the new State Standard of Basic Education, new modular subject programs.

Summarizing the results of the work, the director of the post-graduate education center, Mykhailo Tatarinov, summarized the effectiveness of the training, introduced the participants to the options for obtaining certificates of advanced training, and expressed sincere thanks for the trust of Severodonetsk teachers in the Karazin University in the development of andragogic education.

The next stage of professional development of other categories of teachers of Severodonetsk educational institutions at Karazin University is scheduled for September-October 2022.
