Metropolitan Epiphanius visited Karazin University
Today, an extremely important and inspiring meeting took place at Karazin University. His Beatitude, Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine, visited the university. Archbishop Mytrophan of Kharkiv and Slobozhanshchyna was also present at the meeting.
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine engaged in conversation with students and faculty, answered questions, and emphasized the resilience of the Ukrainian people:
"Every meeting is an inspiration. In these challenging times, we must inspire and encourage each other. We are living through a difficult and crucial historical period, as it has fallen upon us to preserve this great gift of freedom and independence, to multiply, affirm, and pass it on to future generations. Despite all the trials our people have endured over the past three centuries, we have managed to preserve our Ukrainian identity, language, culture, and thousand-year history... Together, we are a great driving force capable of overcoming any obstacles imposed on us by the aggressor country."
Before the meeting, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the memorial to the fallen Karazin students.
