Summary

This project focuses on the development of specialised education to ensure the training of future conference interpreters (simultaneous interpreters) in accordance with the requirements of the European Parliament.

Objectives:

Development of a certification programme for the training of conference interpreters;
Development of a course in simultaneous interpreting for students of the second (master's) level of the School of Foreign Languages.

Project activities:

Teaching a course on simultaneous interpretation, cursive writing and other aspects of interpretation for students of the second (master's) level;
Holding a conference and workshops on teaching simultaneous interpretation.

Expected results:

Training and certification of a group of students of the School of Foreign Languages in the specialisation "Conference interpreting";
Dissemination of the results, discussion with colleagues from other educational institutions that train interpreters, including simultaneous interpreters.
