Meeting with Leadership of International Insurance Company "MSK"
Karazin University has hosted a meeting between the Vice-President Anton Panteleimonov; representatives of the School of Economics, including Dean, Oleksandr Davydov; Head of the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Applied Economics, Tamara Merkulova, with the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the International Insurance Company MSK, Ihor Slukin; the company's employee, 4th year student of the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Applied Economics, School of Economics, Oleksii Shchepka.
The prospects of further cooperation and partnership were discussed during the meeting.
“Currently, the company is keeping up with the times and pursuing a course of innovative implementation and modern development. We have a number of ideas related to digitalization and simplification of providing services by transferring functionality to phones," said Ihor Slukin.
Tamara Merkulova stressed that the educational programs of the School of Economics, in particular the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Applied Economics, coincide with the labor market demands. She also noted that a lot of students successfully combine study and work.
Anton Panteleimonov said that Karazin University students have a significant advantage as they can choose an interschool discipline: “Dual education is a unique feature that our students can use. This is especially convenient if students already work, because in this case they can independently or with advice from the employer, make adjustments to their own educational trajectory."
At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement, which provides for further implementation of joint projects.
"We are increasing cooperation with higher education institutions in all cities of Ukraine, this time in Kharkiv, which is justly considered the student capital of Ukraine. This is symbolic for us because the "MSK" was founded in Kharkiv. We create a unique opportunity for communication, cooperation, exchange of experience, improvement of the educational process, development of a high level of loyalty and trust in insurance companies, improving the quality of practical training of students," said Kyryl Nefedov, Chairman of the “MSK" Supervisory Board.
