Meeting with JSC “Ukrtransgaz” (Naftogaz of Ukraine)

On April 21, 2026, a career orientation event titled “Career Day” was held at the School of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Travel Business with the participation of representatives of JSC “Ukrtransgaz” in both offline and online formats.

The event aimed to familiarize students of higher education with professional development opportunities in the energy sector, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the university and a leading state company in the gas transmission industry.

The speakers from JSC “Ukrtransgaz” included project and programme manager for decarbonization and renewable energy, Karazin University alumnus Stanislav Ignatiev, and Head of the Department for Development, Design, and Scientific and Technical Support of Automation, Dispatching, and Metrology Systems Vadym Oliinykov.

During the meeting, the speakers shared their personal career development experience and spoke about current challenges and prospects for the development of Ukraine’s energy sector, particularly in the areas of decarbonization and the implementation of innovative technologies.

Special attention was paid to opportunities for practical training of students, dual education, internships, employment, as well as the involvement of young specialists in the implementation of the company’s strategic projects.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice regarding their future professional paths.

This meeting became an important step in developing dialogue between Karazin University and JSC “Ukrtransgaz” and helped outline promising areas for further cooperation.
