Archery competition: "Championship of the indomitable Karazin University"
For Karazin University, physical culture and sports are an important component of the educational process. Sports activities not only help to relieve stress and support the physical and mental health of Karazin University students, but also contribute to strengthening the spirit of the university community, uniting the Karazin University community in the fight against today's challenges.
From February 3 to March 12, the archery marathon - "Championship of the indomitable Karazin University" took place. 357 athletes from 8 regions took part in the competition, which became a Ukrainian record for the number of participants.
The organizers of the competition were the Karazin University and the public organization "Department of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in the Kharkiv Region".
The championship was held in two stages: the qualifying stage, where all those who wanted to compete, and the final stage, where the best 8 athletes from each category were selected. Among the participants were many well-known athletes: honored masters of sports from Lviv Serhiy Atamanenko, Kateryna Palekha, Veronika Marchenko, masters of sports of international class Ivan Kozhokar, Iryna Semenova from Chernivtsi, Ivan Dzyadyk, Zhanna Naumova, Solomiya Hnyp, Dzvenislava Chernyk from Lviv, as well as representatives Karazin University, masters of sports of the international class Victoria Koval, Viktor Galazyuk, Mykyta Kravchuk.
The competition was an opportunity to gather students and graduates of the Karazin University in Khmelnytskyi and start active preparation for the Universiade of Ukraine, which is scheduled to be held in Lviv on May 28-31, 2023.
