Educational Program with the Participation of Professors from Europe, the USA, and Japan has been Completed
On October 18th, the certificate educational program "The Stellarator Concept - The Kharkiv Lectures" successfully concluded.
This program was initiated by German scientists in the field of controlled thermonuclear fusion as a gesture of solidarity with the people of Ukraine in our struggle for freedom and independence.
The program featured the participation of 23 leading scientists from Europe, the United States, and Japan. There were 71 applications from researchers worldwide, and 48 participants were accepted.
A total of 29 participants completed the program, including 12 students from the Institute of Physics and Technology at Karazin University. Based on these lectures, the authors are preparing a textbook scheduled to be published by Elsevier next year. Professors from the Institute of Physics and Technology, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Igor Harkusha, and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Igor Hirka, have been invited to edit the textbook.
