Meeting of the University Academic Council

Karazin University Continues to Thrive, Work, and Educate. On August 29, a Meeting of the University Academic Council Was Held.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Tetyana Kahanovska presented a certificate of appreciation for many years of fruitful work, initiative, diligence, conscientious fulfillment of duties, and professional achievements to the Head of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology of the School of History, Serhii Posokhov, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

Vice-Rector Liliia Hrynevych reported on the inclusion of a new research topic in the scientific research and development plan to be carried out by Karazin University. The research, led by the structural unit "Center for Education Research," is titled "Innovative Approaches to Teacher Training and Professional Development in the Context of Implementing the General Secondary Education Reform 'New Ukrainian School' During the War and Post-War Reconstruction of Ukraine."

The attendees approved the work plan of the Academic Council of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for the 2024–2025 academic year.

In accordance with the agenda, several decisions were made during the meeting, including those related to staffing issues, structural changes within university departments, the Regulation on the Organization of Remote Work at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, changes in the composition of editorial boards, and more.

As is tradition, at the end of the meeting, the Academic Council approved the publication of several educational, methodological, and scientific works.
