Despite challenging conditions, the university continues to live, work, and educate. On March 28, a meeting of the Academic Council of the university took place.
At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Tetyana Kaganovska awarded a certificate for conscientious and fruitful work, high professionalism, significant personal contribution to the development of education and science, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the birth of the director of the Institute of Computer Physics and Energy, Iryna Haryachevska. Also, a certificate for conscientious and fruitful work, high professionalism, exemplary performance of official duties was awarded to the Deputy head of the Karazin Student’s Hall, Daria Bortnikova.
Vice-Rector Oleksandr Holovko reported on the improvement of the professional skills of scientific and pedagogical staff. Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov presented a report on the admission of foreign students (presentation).
- Also, the Academic Council of the university approved a number of decisions, including: the awarding of academic titles;
- the regulation on the International Education Institute of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University;
- educational programs and curricula of Karazin University;
- certification programs for professional development;
- nominating candidates to participate in the annual city competition "Young Person of the Year" in 2024;
- support for the nomination of candidates for election to vacancies as full members and corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
- changes in the composition of the editorial boards of the university's periodicals.
Traditionally, at the end of the meeting, the Academic Council approved a number of educational and methodological publications for printing.
