Meeting of the University Academic Council

Karazin University held a meeting of the University Academic Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, the School of Medicine received diplomas and letters of appreciation for their significant personal contribution to the development of education and science, conscientious work, significant labor achievements, high professionalism and on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the revival of the School of Medicine:

• Olga Volobuieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology;
• Maria Matveienko, Associate Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases;
• Maria Brynza, Head of the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Medicine and Physical Rehabilitation;
• Tetyana Tikhonova, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine;
• Iryna Tyahun, Specialist of the 1st category;
• Kostiantyn Voloshyn, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics;
• Svitlana Malanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology;
• Olga Slobodianiuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Oncology, Radiology and Radiation Medicine;
• Olena Shevchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of General Practice — Family Medicine;
• Olga Konstantinovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology;
• Andrii Pinchuk, specialist of the School of Medicine;
• Viacheslav Chernuskyi, Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology;
• Liudmyla Sherstiuk, Associate Professor of the Department of General Practice and Family Medicine.

Zoltan Zyman, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Solid State Physics of the School of Physics was awarded the honorary award "V. N. Karazin Medal" for many years of conscientious fruitful work, high professionalism, significant contribution to the development of Karazin University and on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

As part of the meeting, Volodymyr Poyda, Head of the Department of Experimental Physics made a presentation on "Volodymyr Hnatovych Khotkevych. Life, scientific and scientific-pedagogical activity and organizational work. To the 110th anniversary of his birth".

Among the main issues on the agenda were reports by Vice-Rector Borys Samorodov "On the Development of the University’s Information and Digital Infrastructure" and Vice-Rector Anatolii Babichev "On the Status and Prospects of the University’s Social and Humanitarian Work".

Traditionally, the University Academic Council adopted a number of Regulations and approved for publication educational and scientific works.
