Meeting of the Academic Council of the University
On May 30, a meeting of the Academic Council of the University took place.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the Academic Council Vil Bakirov announced his decision to resign as Chairman of the Academic Council, thanked everyone for their solidarity, activity and fruitful work.
Based on the results of a secret ballot, the Academic Council elected Tetyana Kaganovska, Doctor of Law, Professor, Rector of the University, Chairman of the Academic Council.
In accordance with the agenda, the members of the Academic Council heard the issue of conferring the academic titles of professor and associate professor. In total, the Academic Council considered and supported the candidacies of 7 scientists for academic titles.
Among the main issues on the agenda was the report of the Vice-Rector for Economic and Social Affairs Vasyl Blyndyuk "Information on the state of dormitories".
The issue of approval of educational programs was presented by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Golovko. He acquainted the participants with new and updated educational programs and stressed that the work on improving educational programs continues.
The Academic Council of the University has approved a number of decisions, including:
- On approval of the Regulations on the Department of Slavic Philology and approval of the new edition of the Regulations on the Faculty of Philology and new editions of the Regulations on its structural subdivisions;
- On the Policy of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in the field of quality for 2022–2025;
- On Amendments to the Procedure for Recognition of Learning Outcomes Received in Non-Formal Education at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and its Approval in a New Edition;
- About the statement of curricula of applicants of higher education of the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s) level of higher education within specialties for 2022/2023 academic year.
Members of the Academic Council approved the decision to update the composition of several editorial boards of periodicals of the university.
Traditionally, the Academic Council has approved for publication a number of educational and methodological and scientific publications.
