On February 28, the next meeting of the University’s Scientific and Methodological Council took place. As usual, the council's work was focused on improving the quality of education at Karazin University.
Many schools and institutes are preparing for the accreditation of educational and professional programs, and at the council meetings, program guarantors who have already undergone accreditation share their experiences and provide guidance to those who are planning to go through the process.
According to the agenda, the following issues were discussed:
- The action plan for improving educational programs: "Public Administration of Economic and Digital Modernization of Society" at the second (Master’s) level of higher education; "Business Administration in the Corporate Sector of the Economy" at the second (Master’s) level of higher education; and "Public Policy and Management in the Context of Hybrid Threats" at the second (Master’s) level of higher education. Presentations were made by Mykola Latynin, Mykola Kovalenko, and Olena Krutii (Institute of Public Administration).
- The results of the winter examination session of the 2024/2025 academic year were presented by the Head of the Academic Department, Serhii Yeltsov.
- The results of the internal audit of the university’s structural units were presented by the leading specialist of the Methodical and Accreditation Department, Yulia Chuyko.
The council also approved informational web resources (distance courses) for the electronic (distance) learning system as educational-methodological works (manuals) and recommended a number of methodological publications for printing and posting on the internet.
