Philology School Alumna and Director of the Kharkiv Literary Museum, Tetyana Pylypchuk, became the Laureate of the Vasyl Stus Prize: the University extends its Congratulations
On September 10, the Vasyl Stus Prize award ceremony took place at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
The laureate of the prize was cultural manager and volunteer, Karazin University Philology alumna, and Director of the Kharkiv Literary Museum, Tetiana Pylypchuk.
From 2022 to 2024, Tetiana curated the "Fifth Kharkiv" festival, and since 2021, she has been organizing the work of the Kharkiv Art Residency "Slovo." Over the years of Ukraine's independence, the Literary Museum has made a significant contribution to preserving and promoting the memory of Ukrainian artists of the 1920s and Soviet-era dissidents. It has been a long-time partner of Karazin University. Since 2022, the museum has become part of a community that protects the city and unites military personnel, artists, and volunteers.
In 2024, the Vasyl Stus Prize was awarded for the 35th time. The organizers are:
- PEN Ukraine;
- Kyiv-Mohyla Business School;
- Dukh i Litera Publishing House.
The prize is awarded to writers, artists, directors, musicians, and cultural managers for their outstanding contributions to Ukrainian culture and the resilience of their civic position. Over the years, laureates have included Mykhailyna Kotsiubynska, Ivan Svitlychny, Myroslav Marynovych, Volodymyr Vyatrovych, Mariya Burmaka, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Serhiy Zhadan, Vlad Troitsky, Akhtem Seitablayev, Taras Voznyak, Vitaliy Portnikov, and others.
We congratulate Ms. Tetiana on receiving this award, which recognizes her tireless work, creative talent, and deep dedication to Ukrainian culture!
