He was an officer defending Kharkiv at the front. A veteran of the ATO, a volunteer, has been defending Ukraine since 2014. And when the Russian invasion began, he again joined the ranks of the Armed Forces.

Died in battle on July 20. He was the commander of a group that knocked out several enemy tanks. Together with his brothers, they came under fire, and when they were leaving, Alexander covered his brothers with his body.

"A real Ukrainian officer, smiling, optimistic, strong, educated, energetic... Graduate of the School of Sociology, Master of Political Science. He could impress with his erudition and unexpected but apt judgments. Sasha never turned 35. But he is in our memory forever. Young, smiling. Ironic. Self-critical. Willed. Ukrainian officer. Defender of Ukraine," friend and colleague Maksym Folomeyev noted in his memoirs about Oleksandr.

We remember the feat of Karazin graduate! We believe in our victory!
