The Graduation of the Participants from the Professional Development Course under the Certified Educational Program "Educational Program on Proficiency in the Ukrainian Language as the State Language"

On December 28, 2023, Karazin University successfully provided a training for a group of educational and managerial staff members of an educational institution within the framework of advanced training courses under the certified educational program "Educational Program on Proficiency of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language."

This initiative at Karazin University is in compliance with the current legislation aimed at ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language, as well as the resolutions of the session of the Kharkiv Regional Council dated November 25, 2021, titled "On the Development and Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language in the Kharkiv Region for 2022–2025."

The training involved teachers of English, biology, geography, economics, foreign literature, history and law, elementary school classes, natural science, mathematics, and computer science, music, "Basics of Health" subject, Ukrainian language and literature, physical education, financial literacy, and French language. The participants included the director, deputy director for educational work, and the social pedagogue of the Communal Institution "Zolochiv Lyceum No. 1 of Zolochiv Village Council" in the Kharkiv region.

Upon successful completion of the program, the participants acquired practical skills in using contemporary Ukrainian language in the educational process with students of primary, basic, and complete secondary education. This also extended to handling business documentation and conducting various levels of methodological events, ensuring the proficient use of the Ukrainian language in their professional activities.

During the concluding session, Mikhaylo Tatarinov, the director of the postgraduate education center, presented the results of the training, conducted final assessments, addressed relevant questions from the educators, and explained the mechanism for obtaining certificates of qualification enhancement.
