All-Ukrainian Philosophical, Historical, and Local Lore Conference of Student Youth 'Know Yourself, Your Kin, Your People'"

On February 22, 2024, the traditional XVII All-Ukrainian Philosophical, Historical, and Local Lore Conference of Student Youth "Know Yourself, Your Kin, Your People" started its work at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in a mixed format.

The organizers of the conference are:

• Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;

• Ukrainian State Center for National-Patriotic Education, Local Lore, and Tourism of Student Youth;

• Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration;

• V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University;

• National Literary and Memorial Museum of H. S. Skovoroda;

• Municipal institution "Kharkiv Regional Station of Young Tourists" of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

The participants were welcomed by:

• Head of the Department of Extracurricular, School, Extracurricular, and Inclusive Education of the Directorate of Preschool, School, Extracurricular, and Inclusive Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Vadim Ovcharenko;

• Vice-Rector of Karazin University Anatolii Babichev;

• Dean of the School of Philosophy of Karazin University Ivan Karpenko;

• Deputy Director of the Ukrainian State Center for National-Patriotic Education, Local Lore, and Tourism of Student Youth Dmytro Omelchenko;

• Senior Researcher of the Institute of Art History, Folklore, and Ethnology named after M. T. Rylsky of the NAS of Ukraine Valentyna Sushko;

• Director of the Municipal Institution "Kharkiv Regional Station of Young Tourists" of the Kharkiv Regional Council Valentyna Redina.

Over two days, 170 participants of the conference, students from 17 regions of Ukraine, deliver reports, exchange ideas, and discuss in the following sections:

• Relevance of Grigory Skovoroda's heritage in the context of today;

• Ethnographic features of the region;

• Global consequences of the war for Ukraine and the world;

• Spiritual treasures of my region;

• The meaning of life in the views of modern youth.
