The University celebrates World Science Day for Peace and Development

Every year on November 10, the world celebrates World Science Day for Peace and Development.

This day is dedicated to the significant role of science in society, aiming to engage the broader public in discussions on current scientific issues.

Established in 2001 under the auspices of UNESCO, this celebration contributes to the popularization of science and the interaction between science and the public.

At Karazin University, more than 400 Doctors of Science and professors, over 1,300 Candidates of Science, and associate professors participate in scientific research and training. Among the university staff are 7 academicians and corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and sectoral academies.
