World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development

21 may 2023 year

Today, many countries celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

The holiday was established by a resolution of the UN General Assembly and first celebrated in 2003. It gives us an opportunity to realize the depth and diversity of national culture not only in our country but also in other countries, to understand the importance of cultural exchange and preservation of customs, traditions and heritage.

Cultural diversity is a driving force for development not only in terms of economic growth, but also for a full intellectual, emotional, moral and spiritual life. It is the most valuable asset that is a prerequisite for achieving sustainable development of society.

Karazin University offers ample opportunities for development and dialogue between representatives of different scientific disciplines, nationalities, countries, and research areas. We strive to make the pluralism of cultures, through the establishment of a dialogue between them, our common achievement.
