On December 10th, within the walls of the YermilovCenter for Contemporary Art, a true fairy-tale atmosphere prevailed, filled with genuine children's laughter and the sounds of fantastic music. The celebration of St. Nicholas Day took place for the youngest members of the university family.
Kharkiv University, in collaboration with Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky, organized festive events for the children of university staff.
"For the second year in a row, we have been meeting in a safe space because the safety of our children is our top priority. Today, we celebrate the holiday, and I am confident that true happiness for you, parents, is the joyful eyes of your little ones, so that they may live in a strong and independent Ukraine. I want to wish our children to dream, to enjoy life, to make plans. Thanks to our defenders who secure our future every day. Thank you for being with us today, may all your wishes come true!" greeted the guests the Rector of Kharkiv University, Tetiana Kaganovska.
The Rector of Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky, Natalia Govorukhina, also delivered a welcoming speech, noting that Kharkiv University is the heart of Kharkiv, and Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky is its soul.
Event guests had the unique opportunity to enjoy a concert by the Symphony Orchestra of Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky (artistic director and conductor – Yuri Dyachenko). The little ones also had an interactive art therapy session and a puppet theater fairy-tale performance waiting for them.
