International Pearson English Certificates Award Ceremony at Karazin University, Confirming Proficiency in English as a Foreign Language
Based on the results of the successful testing held on June 20 and 22, 2024, at the university's Pearson Testing Center, 11 candidates received a certificate confirming their proficiency in English at the B2 level, one candidate received a certificate at the C1 level, and one candidate received a certificate at the B1 level. This was the first session after the center’s status update and the onset of the full-scale war.
On September 3, a formal certificate award ceremony took place with the participation of Rector Tetyana Kaganovska and the Head of the Testing and Certification Department of the International Center for Language Training and Certification, Associate Professor of the Department of Business and Foreign Languages at the School of Foreign Languages, Natalia Oliynyk.
Taking exams under today’s challenging conditions is a completely different experience. Tetyana Kaganovska emphasized this during her address to the participants: “Today we often ask ourselves if there is something we can do to make the horrors of today end sooner. In reality, what we can do is continue our work, set goals, and achieve them. The realization of a goal is our response to the enemy and proof that they cannot break our plans, our desire to live, work, and discover new opportunities.”
Learning a new language today is an opportunity to share with the world the beauty of our country, the resilience of Kharkiv, and the glory of Karazin University.
Karazin University also invites everyone to test their English skills and obtain an internationally recognized certificate! Join us for the next session, which will take place from November 30 to December 14, 2024 (both oral and written parts). Registration is open until October 28, 2024, via the provided link.
