A meeting with representatives of the media platform Gwara took place at Karazin University. The event was attended by Editor-in-Chief Serhii Prokopenko, as well as international department editors Nazar Hlamazda and Yana Slemzina.

Karazin University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the independent media platform Gwara, a major regional media outlet covering Kharkiv, which employs many graduates of our university. As part of the memorandum's implementation, the Gwara Media team engaged with Karazin students, particularly those from the Educational and Research Institute "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business."

"The Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business offers the educational program 'International Information and International Communications,' so today's meeting is highly important and beneficial for our students — future specialists in international journalism, international communications, and relations," said Nataliia Vynnykova, Head of the Department of International Relations.

During the meeting, Gwara Media editors shared insights into the operations of their online publication, the products created by their editorial team, and the significance of covering events in Kharkiv and Ukraine for an international audience. Participants, both in-person and online, actively engaged in discussions and asked questions.

Additionally, attendees watched the documentary "Ukraine: City Under Siege", which covers the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Kharkiv. The film was produced by Gwara Media and S9 FILMS for Al Jazeera.

We are grateful to the Gwara Media team for an insightful meeting and look forward to continuing our collaboration!
