Karazin University has Completed the Educational Process for Teachers under the Program "Primary Aid for Children with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder"
On September 21, 2023, the Center for Postgraduate Education at Karazin University held the final session of the non-formal education program titled "Primary Assistance for Children with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder" at the municipal institution "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 11 named after Danilo Didyk of the Kharkiv City Council." The program was attended by administrative staff and educational professionals from various categories.
During the interactive session, participants in the professional development program discussed the importance of the practical component of the course they had completed and the specific methods of utilizing psychological and pedagogical competencies they had acquired in the educational process with students from grades 1 to 11.
Svitlana Protsenko, the director of the lyceum, and the educators expressed their gratitude to the course instructor, Irina Vyshneva, and the director of the municipal institution "Kharkiv Inclusive Resource Center No. 1 of the Kharkiv City Council," for providing them with a valuable toolkit for addressing current educational challenges and problematic situations in their work with students and their parents.
The director of the Center for Postgraduate Education, Mykhailo Tatarinov, congratulated the participants of the professional development courses on successfully completing the program. He emphasized the importance of teachers' ongoing self-regulation and the implementation of survival strategies in the context of a state of war.
At the end of the session, Mykhailo Tatarinov presented the lyceum's educators with documents certifying their qualification enhancement.
