Karazin University Hosts a Series of Events on “Safety and First Aid in Conditions of Wartime Threats”
On May 13, 2026, several meetings were held at Karazin University with specialized groups of university staff based on their professional activities (occupational safety, security and protection, civil defense, and HR work). The sessions were conducted by representatives of the Ukrainian Deminers Association and featured interactive activities on the topic “Safety and First Aid in Conditions of Wartime Threats.”
University staff took part in the event with great interest, although this was not their first meeting with Serhii Berezan and Bohdana Berezan, lecturers from the Ukrainian Deminers Association, during 2025–2026. Participants also noted that the session included new interactive training elements, updated examples of pre-hospital care, and tactical medicine practices.
We express our gratitude to everyone who participated in the interactive training, especially lecturer Serhii Berezan. We look forward to new meetings at our university with new topics and practical examples aimed at preserving human life. Kharkiv residents, as people living in a frontline city, deeply understand the importance of such training and the necessity of timely and high-quality assistance before the arrival of medical and rescue services.
