Veterans' Development Center: Completion of Training for the First Cohort of the "Veteran's Assistant" Project
On December 22, a three-week training for veteran assistants at the Veterans' Development Center concluded. The first graduating class consisted of 9 individuals who will now be professionally assisting military personnel. All participants received documents confirming their qualifications.
"Veteran's Assistant" is an experimental project where assistants provide individual support to veterans. Project participants include demobilized military personnel, members of their families, or relatives of the deceased. They will help veterans adapt to civilian life.
Present at the graduation ceremony were: Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, Vice-Rector Anatoliy Babichev, Director of the Center Tetyana Cherednichenko, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Protection of the Population of Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KHOVA) Iryna Viunik, Deputy Head of the Social Guarantees Department of the Department of Social Protection of the Population of KHOVA Vita Kalyuzhna, project instructors — Assistant Professor of the Department of General Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Palliative Medicine at the School of Medicine Madona Gogia, and Professor of the School of Law, National Security, and European Integration at the Institute of Public Administration Volodymyr Bulba.
Tetyana Kaganovska addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech: "The university has made every effort to ensure that you have the right to master this valuable profession. I know how important and responsible this is for you. You will be the first graduates of this program. And I believe that we have provided you with the necessary skills. I am confident that the doors of our university are always open to you, our teachers are always ready to provide you with consultations. We also expect feedback from you during your work so that we can improve our program."
