In the grand halls of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the ceremonial opening of the project Karazin Weekends Legacy: Honoring 220 Years took place — a unique event that brought together over 300 school students from the Kharkiv region, introducing them to the vast world of science and knowledge. A highlight of the event was the symbolic induction of the school students as honorary students of Karazin University — a ceremonial step into their future academic journey.

The university’s rector, Tetyana Kaganovska, along with the deans of various schools, inspired participants with encouraging words, emphasizing the importance of self-belief, perseverance, and a love for learning. Each speech was filled not only with wisdom but also with warmth and support that the students will carry throughout their academic paths.

A special treat for the guests was a performance by the university choir Ad Libitum, creating an unforgettable atmosphere, along with a brilliant performance by Tetyana Tymoshenko, a student from Kharkiv Specialized Higher Art College and a member of the Karazin Orchestra, adding a touch of musical magic to the event.

Following the ceremony, students were invited to an exciting challenge — a quest through the labyrinthine halls of Karazin University. Participants tested their wit and teamwork, solving puzzles hidden throughout the university's fascinating locations. Based on the quest results, participants will have the chance to claim interesting prizes, which they can purchase with "vasylky" — game currency earned by completing quest tasks.

Ahead lies an exciting week of learning, culminating in a graduation ceremony for those who attend at least half of the sessions.

Karazin Weekends Legacy has become more than just a project; it is the start of a new tradition that, now in its second year, unites our youth, opens up a world of opportunities, and creates unforgettable memories!
