School on Condensed Matter Physics

From September 28 to October 9, 2026, the school “Frontiers of Condensed Matter 2026” will take place in France. 

The school is aimed at Master’s and PhD students and provides an overview of a wide range of topics in modern condensed matter physics. 

The following courses are planned:

• Quantum transport and spintronics
• Topological phases of matter
• Superconducting electrical circuits
• Quantum materials and unconventional superconductivity
• Two-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures
• Spin and orbital magnetism

Registration: until June 15, 2026.

Participation fee: €250 (includes accommodation and meals).

The organizers may cover the participation fee for a limited number of participants, but they cannot cover travel expenses. The need for financial support must be indicated in the application.
