Independence Week is a project aimed at raising public awareness of Ukraine's history, culture, and modern achievements, as well as promoting national-patriotic education among students and city residents. The project includes a series of public lectures and events for participants.

On August 19, in an online format, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and political scientist Yuliia Bidenko gave the first lecture on "Recipes for Ukraine's Resilience: Civil Society and Political Culture in a Dynamic and Comparative Context"!

The event discussed the electoral preferences of Ukrainians during different periods of the country's independence. The speaker also shared results from various studies, including those on public trust in state institutions, the components of an effective state, and the participation of Ukrainians in their communities' lives.

At the end of the lecture, participants asked questions and received comprehensive answers.
