Working Visit to Moldova: Agreement Signed with the State University of Moldova
During a working visit to Chișinău, a delegation from the university, including Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov, and Head of the International Relations Office Iryna Shteymiller, visited the Ministry of Education and Research of Moldova.
During the visit, in the presence of Minister Dan Perciun, an agreement was signed to implement a number of dual degree programs with the State University of Moldova.
The agreement provides for the implementation of joint academic programs in various fields of study, including computer science, educational sciences, management, marketing, public finance, and international law.
"Students enrolled in joint degree programs will receive two diplomas, one from each university, upon completion of the programs, provided they meet the requirements and conditions stipulated by national legislation. Each year, at least 10 students from each university will participate in the joint academic programs established by this agreement," said Minister Dan Perciun.
The agreement also includes academic mobility programs, allowing students to take courses at the partner university to accumulate the necessary credits. The credits and grades earned at one university will be recognized by the other.
Additionally, joint participation in scientific projects under the European Union's Horizon Europe program is planned.
