The Rector of the University, Tetiana Kaganovska, visited the University of Zurich (Switzerland)

On July 11, 2024, Rector Tetyana Kaganovska paid a working visit to the University of Zurich. The meeting of the heads of leading higher education institutions was supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland.

The heads of Ukrainian universities informed their Swiss colleagues about the peculiarities of university activities during the war, outlined promising directions for work, and discussed the challenges faced by educators and scientists in Ukraine today.

During the meeting, they discussed possible areas of cooperation, including mobility for students, teachers, and staff, as well as joint research on pressing issues in various fields such as mental health, psychological rehabilitation, and Ukrainian studies. Karazin University extends its gratitude to the representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland, the University of Zurich, the Global Affairs Department, and Ukrainian universities for a warm and productive meeting! This support is extremely important as it promotes the integration of Ukrainian education into the global academic space, strengthens cultural ties, and fosters mutual understanding between our countries, which is the basis for harmonious coexistence in a globalized world.
