Karazin University projects are among the winners of the scientific research competition from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

Science in Karazin Ubiversity is a real miracle that inspires and fascinates with its possibilities. Even in the conditions of war, the university remains the place where people come together to create something incredible, to hold the educational and scientific front to ensure a decent future for Ukrainians.

Our scientists continue to give the world new knowledge and discoveries. 7 projects of scientific research and development by specialists of the Karazin University were competitively selected and received funding from the state budget.

According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the implementation of works will begin in the current month under the budget program "Scientific and scientific and technical activities of institutions of higher education and scientific institutions."

According to the results of the competitive selection, the following projects of the Karazin University were selected:

• "Transfer processes and kinetics of low-temperature and thermonuclear plasma";
• "Internal dimensional effects in nanocomposite structures as a physical basis of dual-purpose functional materials";
• "Radiation safety during transportation of spent nuclear fuel and handling of radioactive waste at NPPs of Ukraine";
• "Combined radiating structures and antenna arrays for radio-electronic communication and location systems";
• "Improving the characteristics of microwave patch antennas due to the use of passive and controlled metamaterial substrates";
• "Increasing the efficiency and improving the reception and transmission structures of aircraft and mobile communication systems";
• "Vacuum-plasma methods of instrument sterilization and formation of bactericidal metal thin-film coatings on dressing materials."

Scientific research projects from Karazin students are highly appreciated. Preference is given to works related to the problems and current needs of the national economy, society, and national security and defense of Ukraine. In scientific research, experts proposed their solution by acquiring new knowledge, creating new technologies, promoting innovation in the real sector of the economy, and developing innovative entrepreneurship.
