Karazin University professors are among the organizers of the American-Ukrainian Quantum Forum
Leading experts in the field of quantum physics are preparing to hold an online scientific forum to discuss quantum technologies in August 2023. This will be the first event of its kind to bring together quantum physics researchers from the United States and Ukraine.
Quantum technologies are playing an increasingly important role in the development of the modern economy. Establishing direct links will not only contribute to the development of interstate relations, but will also lay the foundation for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
The following issues will be discussed at the forum:
- quantum information;
- quantum computers;
- quantum communication;
- quantum sensors and metrology;
- quantum optics;
- quantum systems of many or several bodies;
- quantum control and open systems.
This initiative is supported by the U.S. Office of Naval Research. Among the heads of the local organizing committee is Professor Andrii Sotnikov of the School of Physics and Technology.
The organizers call on scientists and students who currently reside in Ukraine and conduct active research in the outlined areas to submit extended abstracts using the LaTeX template, which is available on the forum's website, by July 7, 2023.
Abstracts should be submitted on the conference organization platform after registration using the email address at the link.
Selected abstracts will be published in the relevant collections.
