Representatives of the Karazin University Veteran Development Center — Participants of the International Veteran Forum 'Ukraine. Veterans. Unity

On August 22, 2024, the Karazin University Veteran Development Center became one of the participants in the 7th International Veteran Forum "Ukraine. Veterans. Unity."

The forum brought together representatives of various countries to exchange experiences and develop programs aimed at integrating veterans into the society.

During the event, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the signing of a decree instructing the Government to approve the National Veteran Policy Strategy and the Strategy for the Transition from Military Service to Civilian Life. Other participants included Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, Heads of ministries and departments, representatives of veteran and public organizations, diplomats, and others.

The event featured panel discussions where veterans and their families had the opportunity to share their personal experiences on important topics:

• "The State for Veterans"
• "Communities for Veterans"
• "Veterans for Veterans"

These discussions provided an important platform for exchanging ideas, finding solutions, and supporting one another.
