Laying of flowers on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the birthday of Vasyl Karazin, the founder of Karazin University

Today, Karazin University celebrates the 250th anniversary of the birth of its founder, Ukrainian educator and encyclopedist Vasyl Nazarovych Karazin.

As noted by the rector of Karazin University, professor Tetyana Kaganovska, Karazin could not have known, only imagined, what important processes he would launch along with the creation of the university; but his actions benefited Kharkiv and Ukraine.

On the occasion of this glorious date, employees and students of Karazin University held a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the monument of the founder of the university, which stands at the entrance to the main building.
