International Mother Earth Day

On the occasion of International Mother Earth Day, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University addresses the academic community, students, and all concerned individuals with a call to unite efforts to preserve the natural environment. This day, observed annually on April 22 initiated by the United Nations General Assembly. It aims to highlight the fragility of the planet’s ecosystems and the need for harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.

As a leading scientific and educational centre of Ukraine, the University consistently supports the principles of sustainable development, implements environmental initiatives, and promotes the formation of environmental awareness among young people. Researchers at Karazin University активно study climate change, biodiversity, and the rational use of natural resources, offering innovative solutions to contemporary challenges.
