Hennadii Yefimenko's Lecture: "Destroy Ukraine: The Common Goals and Differences in Genocidal Practices During the Holodomor Era and Modern Moscow Aggression"
On the Eve of Holodomor Remembrance Day, Karazin University Hosts Online Lecture
In anticipation of Holodomor Remembrance Day, Karazin University held an online lecture titled "Destroy Ukraine: The Common Goals and Differences in Genocidal Practices During the Holodomor Era and Modern Moscow Aggression."
Hennadii Yefimenko, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of History of Ukraine at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, provided a historical overview of the root causes of Russia’s genocidal intentions, both past and present. Attendees learned about the overt and covert genocidal practices of the Kremlin during the Holodomor era and their connection to the contemporary actions of the Russian aggressor.
The lecturer discussed the informational component of the Holodomor in Kremlin policies, both historically and in modern times, addressing the reasons behind this crime against Ukraine and explaining why the Kremlin ultimately failed.
At the end of the lecture, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and express their gratitude to Mr. Hennadii for the engaging and insightful discussion.
