The Course "Society of Risk: Living, Studying, Managing"
We invite you to join the course "Society of Risk: Living, Studying, Managing."
This course has been developed as part of the Ukrainian-Swedish project "Risk and Crisis Management Education for a Safer Ukraine" (SAFE Ukraine), which is implemented by the School of Sociology at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the School of Sociology at the University of Central Sweden (Östersund).
The course is practice-oriented and aims to develop students' analytical skills in managing social risks in various life situations, including communication, labor relations, project management, organizational development, and daily life.

The course includes the following activities:
- Lectures and practical sessions (including joint sessions with Swedish students).
- Top-performing students who participate in the "Society of Risk: Living, Studying, Managing" course will have the opportunity to attend a winter school at the University of Central Sweden in January 2024.
- Participation in the development of a handbook for schoolchildren on risk recognition and prevention.
- Receipt of certificates of completion for this course.
The course is taught in Ukrainian, but knowledge of English is required for participation in seminars with Swedish students. Proficiency in English at a high level is an important criterion for the competitive selection process for the winter school in Sweden.
