University Programming Cup–2025: Results

On April 27, 2025, the closing ceremony of the University Programming Cup–2025 took place in the safe space of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.” This large-scale competition brought together students, school pupils, and even university lecturers.
The event aimed for inclusivity rather than elitism, allowing an unlimited number of participants from each institution. The winning university was determined by the cumulative scores of all its participants.
A total of 48 educational institutions from 18 regions of Ukraine took part in the competition. The event was organized by the Kharkiv IT Cluster and the youth scientific society “Q-Bit.”
Based on the overall results, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took second place in the University Programming Cup–2025.
In addition to the overall second place, Karazin University was also the winner among institutions specializing in F3 Computer Science.
The honorary cup and award for the university were accepted by Vice-Rector Anatolii Babichev.

These students were also recognized as winners in the categories of E: Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics and F3: Computer Science.

Oleksandr Kupriianov and Dmytro Uzlov, Director of the Institute of Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence, received certificates of appreciation for organizing Karazin University’s participation.
Also involved in preparing participants was Volodymyr Strukov, Head of the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis at the Institute of Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence.
