Karazin Scientists were Elected as Full Members (Academicians) and Corresponding Members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

On April 25, 2024, a session of the General Assembly of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine took place, during which full members (Academicians) and corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine were elected.

Among them are the members from Karazin University, specifically:

  • Corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Dean of the School of Physics, Professor Ruslan Vovk, was elected a full member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, specializing in "Physics of Nanosystems".
  • Professor and leading researcher at the Educational and Research Institute "Physical-Technical School" Ihor Denysenko was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Nuclear Physics and Energy, specializing in "Plasma Physics".
  • Professor and Head of the Department of Space Radiophysics of the School of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics, and Computer Systems, Leonid Chornogor, was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, specializing in "Space Physics".
  • Professor of the Department of Fundamental Mathematics of the School of Mathematics and Informatics Dmytro Shepelsky was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Mathematics.
  • Professor of the Department of Nuclear and High Energy Physics of the Educational and Research Institute "Physical-Technical School" Ihor Kyryllin was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Nuclear Physics and Energy, specializing in "Nuclear Physics".
