Final Conference of the Erasmus+ Project "Integration of Dual Higher Education in Moldova and Ukraine / COOPERA" held on July 4-5, 2024

On July 4-5, 2024, the final conference of the Erasmus+ project "Integration of Dual Higher Education in Moldova and Ukraine / COOPERA" took place at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.

During the event, representatives of Ukrainian higher education institutions (V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, KROK University, Odesa National Economic University, Uzhhorod National University) and Moldovan universities (Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, Free International University of Moldova) presented the results of piloting dual education programs. They shared best practices for involving business representatives in the implementation of such programs and recruiting students.

In practical sessions, along with colleagues from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (Germany), the University of Lleida (Spain), WSB Academy (Poland), Varna University of Management (Bulgaria), and the Institute for Research and Development of European Policies (Slovenia), they discussed trends and prospects for the development of dual education in Europe. They also discussed recommendations for improving the regulatory and legal framework for implementing dual education programs in Ukraine and Moldova, as well as establishing cooperation between students, business representatives, and higher education institutions.

During the event, further steps for finalizing the Erasmus+ project "Integration of Dual Higher Education in Moldova and Ukraine / COOPERA" and prospective directions for further cooperation were discussed with consortium university representatives.

From Karazin University, the event was attended by the director of the Education and Scientific Institute "Karazin Business School" Volodymyr Rodchenko, associate professor of the Department of Management and Administration and project manager of Erasmus+ "COOPERA" Yulia Kvitka, and associate professors of the Department of Management and Administration Anton Kvitka, Yulia Prus, and Hanna Rekun.
