Karazinites Participated in the Third Module of the "Leaders of University Transformation for the Revival of Ukraine"
Representatives of Karazin University, including Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, Vice-Rector Anatoliy Babichev, Acting Dean of the School of Economics Vitaliy Dyachek, Dean of the School of Sociology Olena Muradyan, and Director of the Center for Extracurricular Activities Tetyana Cherednychenko, took part in the third module of the program "Leaders of University Transformation for the Revival of Ukraine."
The module was dedicated to leadership and university autonomy. Key issues addressed included strategic thinking, constructive criticism, managerial governance, the culture of distributed leadership, staff development programs, asymmetric competition, and a special focus on leadership in an era of uncertainty. Practically, the university teams continued to work with concepts of trust, accountability, transparency, competence, challenges, engagement, and stakeholder interaction by modeling institutional changes within their own universities.
The event featured both Ukrainian and British speakers, including Olga Budnik, Ulyana Avtonomova, Taras Dobko, Svitlana Kalashnikova, Sofia Opatska, Lyudmyla Tatsenko, Olena Yuzkova, Rachel Ashworth, Hayley Beckett, Jan Juillerat, Sarah Hurlow, Rashi Jain, Martin Kitchener, and Rachel Williams.
The program was organized by the British Council in Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine’s Fund for Education, Science, and Sports. The project is implemented with the participation of leading British and Ukrainian experts. The British partner of the program is Cardiff University.
