Karazin Representatives Attended the European Universities Summit
On April 23–24, 2024, in Bremen, Germany, representatives from Karazin University participated in THE Europe Universities Summit 2024 organized by the British ranking agency Times Higher Education.
The university was represented by Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov, and Head of the Global Development Department Maryna Hryhorieva.
Participants of this year's summit focused on examining the role of universities and other higher education institutions in societal development in Europe and beyond through partnerships. They explored how leading academic institutions can strategically align efforts, resources, and expertise to achieve tangible and sustainable societal outcomes.
Leaders from higher education, industry, and civil society also discussed future partnerships between universities and industry, as well as between universities and civil society within the higher education sector.
