Karazin University Representatives Among the Winners of the L'Oréal-UNESCO "For Women in Science"

Congratulations on another victory for the finalists of the L'Oréal-UNESCO "For Women in Science" Award in Ukraine for the year 2023:
- Olga Maksakova, Senior Researcher and Associate Professor at the Education and Scientific Institute "School of Physics and Technology" of Karazin University.
- Ksenia Minakova, Associate Professor at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute," and a graduate of the School of Physics and Technology of Karazin University in 2011.
In 1998, L'Oréal initiated the "For Women in Science" program aimed at strengthening women's positions in the scientific realm, supporting advanced scientific experiences, and promoting talented female scientists in the recognition they deserve. The goal of the award is to support and recognize talented female scientists, as well as encourage young women to choose scientific professions.
The competition has been held in Ukraine for 5 consecutive years, expanding opportunities for women in science and overcoming gender stereotypes.
