Karazininites held a Training Session "Media as a Tool for Interaction with Beneficiaries for NGOs and Charitable Foundations"
On April 29, at the Center for Civil Society Development, the Director of Karazin Media Studio, Mykhailo Protsenko, the Director of the Public Relations Center, Victoria Yakymenko, and the specialist of the public relations center, Yulia Baglyk, conducted a 4-hour training session for representatives of charitable and public organizations in Ukraine.
The offline training focused on the following topics:
- Basic rules of communication on the internet;
- The importance of visual content in the media space;
- PR and promotion: how to attract media attention to the activities of public and charitable organizations;
- Videography for social media;
- Best techniques for videography;
- Basics of photography;
- How to take emotional photos for social media and the press;
- Photos that tell stories;
- Managing social media: strategies, tone of voice, copyrighting rules;
- Methods for tracking the effectiveness of media campaigns;
- Working with journalists.
In particular, Mykhailo Protsenko talked about videography and techniques for quality visual content. Victoria Yakymenko discussed the basics of photography and focused on how to take quality photos without professional equipment. And Yulia Baglyk talked about the importance of social media for organizations.
