Karazin scientists are among the winners of the "Science for the Reconstruction of Ukraine in War and Post-War Periods"
Igor Garkusha, the Head of the Department of Applied Physics and Plasma Physics at the Education and Research Institute "School of Physics and Technology" and the Deputy Director General of the National Scientific Center "Kharkiv Physical-Technical Institute," and an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, has achieved another victory!
The National Research Foundation of Ukraine has completed the evaluation of works submitted to the "Science for the Reconstruction of Ukraine in War and Post-War Periods" competition. A total of 221 applications were submitted, and 67 works were announced as winners.
Taking the top spot in the ranking, engineers and scientists from the Institute of Plasma Physics at the National Scientific Center "Kharkiv Physical-Technical Institute" submitted the project "Development and Implementation of Low-Temperature Plasma Technologies for Sterilization and Disinfection in Military and Civil Medicine" (98.6 out of 100 points). The research team also includes Yulia Volkova, a graduate student from the School of Physics and Technology.
