Karazin University Representatives Participated in the International Highlight Event 2 as part of the project 'Integration and Adaptation of International Students/INTERADIS'
From October 1 to 3, 2024, at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (Rivne), as part of the Erasmus+ project "Integration and Adaptation of International Students/INTERADIS," associate professors of the Education and Research Institute "Karazin Business School," Olena Parkhomenko and Serhii Berenda, participated in the International Highlight Event 2.
During the event, project partners shared their experiences and practices for adapting international students.
In particular, Jan van Zwieten, the Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, delivered a report outlining the main challenges in working with international students. Representatives from the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, KROK University, the Ukrainian State Center for International Education, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Mariupol State University, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, and Odesa Polytechnic University presented their work within the project, considering the specifics of the wartime period.
Additionally, Serhii Berenda gave a presentation on "Blockchain Technology for International Students," highlighting innovative approaches to pedagogical interaction with students.
Participants also learned from representatives of the Rivne Regional State Administration about potential ways to effectively collaborate between universities, businesses, and authorities for the comfortable adaptation and integration of international students.
