On December 21, 2023, an online meeting of the consortium of the Erasmus+ project "Reforming Educational Programs to Promote Education for Peace in Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova / PeaceEdu" took place.

The project officially kicks off on January 1, 2024, but all partners have already begun active collaboration. Karazin Business School is representing the university in this initiative.

During the meeting, participants discussed the action plan for the next 9 months, the preparation of the consortium agreement, communication channels between partners, and established the day for weekly project management meetings.

Representing Karazin Business School at the meeting was Associate Professor and Project Manager Yulia Kvitka.

Background: The goal of the PeaceEdu project is to promote sustainable peace practices in Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova by strengthening the potential and capacity of higher education institutions in these countries to invest in the development of interdisciplinary peace education. This will be achieved not only by supporting the development of a relevant curriculum and conducting pilot courses but also by creating a cross-regional learning network and enhancing dialogue with the best practices of other European countries. By increasing the potential of beneficiary higher education institutions, the project is aimed at addressing peace and security issues in the Eastern Partnership countries.
